Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Shop, Warehouse & Fleet Coordinator to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory control, tool management, fleet readiness, and material deliveries. This is an independent role supporting Service Operations with no direct reports.

Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to follow through on responsibilities without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and process returns.
  • Pick, verify, and stage materials and tool kits for jobs.
  • Track company tools and equipment, including location, condition, and repair needs.
  • Coordinate vehicle readiness, maintenance records, keys, and fleet documentation.
  • Complete approved material pickups and deliveries and document activity in company systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, shop, and yard environment.
  • Work closely with Service Managers and Dispatch to support technician productivity.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, parts management, tool-room operations, service support, or similar work, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, spreadsheets, and barcode/QR tracking systems.
  • Willingness to learn ServiceTrade, Workforce Go, and company inventory systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Preferred: Experience with a mechanical contractor, trade supplier, equipment rental company, field service organization, or fleet operation.
